Orange County civil trial attorney Phillip Geurts is founder and CEO of Geurts Law Firm. Derek is our college intern, learning from inside out the operations of a law firm. He is our support for case monitoring, research, and electronic filings. Derek improves the efficiency of the law office process, keeps the virtual technology functioning, and looks for ways to save costs. He runs weekly case meetings and provides support for deposition and trial preparation.

KC Downs Waters
Ms. Waters supports civil litigation and administrative proceedings. She oversees company formation, maintenance, and dissolution, and personal estate document preparation for trusts, wills, and powers of attorney. Ms. Waters constructs contracts for commercial sales, business acquisitions, employment, independent contractors, and claim settlements. She creates company guidelines and handbooks, as well as employment presentations for companies, including employment law harassment and discrimination materials.
